Wayfarer is the Pinot Noir project of Cleo and Jayson Pahlmeyer, and it is sourced from one of the most coveted vineyard sites on the remote Sonoma Coast. Purchased by Jayson Pahlmeyer in 1998 at the encouragement of Helen Turley and John Wetlaufer of nearby Marcassin, the estate has spent more than two decades establishing itself as one of California's benchmark Pinot Noir producers. Today, mature vines, meticulous farming, and a truly exceptional coastal site combine to produce wines of remarkable depth, elegance, and complexity.

The 2022 Estate Pinot Noir earned 97 points from Jeb Dunnuck and 96 points from Antonio Galloni, who described it as "a wine of total class and understatement." Those accolades are well deserved. Aromas of ripe cherry, wild strawberry, rose petal, black tea, blood orange, mint, and salty ocean air lead into a vibrant, beautifully detailed palate with tremendous purity, energy, and length.
