Walter Hansel Vineyards is one of the great under-the-radar estates of the Russian River Valley. Founded in the late 1970s, the winery is now led by Stephen Hansel, who learned much of his craft from legendary neighbor Tom Rochioli. That vineyard-focused philosophy has helped Walter Hansel earn a reputation for producing some of Sonoma's best values in Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

The North Slope Pinot Noir is consistently the richest and most expressive wine in the lineup.
