Regular price $29.99In August 2014, acclaimed Burgundy producer Philippe Colin (also one of the guardians of the famous Colin-Deleger vineyard in Chassagne Montrachet) and his business partner became enchanted with the 64 hectare farm, and purchased the estate. Philippe is the winemaking partner, and his business partner, Serge Jaczynski, is a sommelier from Southern France who counts Michelin 3 star restaurants and Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie among his clients. Ooh la la!
The wine is very classy, and you can sense Philippe's Burgundian personality from the first sniff to the last sip. 'Another successful vintage from Philippe Colin's Topiary, the 2019 Chardonnay begins with bright and crunchy fruit tones of yellow apple, pear and pastry cream, with a growing nuttiness and subtle baking spices. Medium-bodied, the Chardonnay springs to life with lively acidity and a delightful mouthfeel and texture.
