Tan Fruit is the project of Jim Maresh, one of the Willamette Valley's most talented vignerons. At Tan Fruit, it's all about fresh, lively, and complex Chardonnay from some of the top sites in the Willamette Valley, and Maresh's Petite Tan Fruit is a great introduction to the house style.
Grapes are sourced from high-level growers in Oregon (Willamette and Umpqua Valleys) along with 30% from Washington's Columbia Valley. Fermented and aged in tank with native yeasts, it is Jim's ode to a Petit Chablis. Offering up a wonderful mix of fruit, nut, spice, and mineral, it is one of our country's top Chardonnay values.
