Coming from his holdings in the village of Sankt-Aldegund with an average vine age of 60yrs from ungrafted Riesling vines, Stein's Blauschiefer Riesling Trocken is a superb point of entry into what makes Stein one of the most exciting producers in the Mosel. 'Blauschiefer' is in reference to the blue slate soil that show much of the Mosel is planted upon. Cutting, lifted, hyper-fresh, hyper-pure, and razor sharp. Flinty, zesty, floral, and intense. This is laser focused.
