Regular price $76.99In 2013 husband and wife Rori and Cinzia along with their daughter Sandra began to farm organically with old vines (50-120yrs old) at altitudes between 650 and 1000 meters on Mt Etna, and they called this project SRC. They work with a number of varietals indigenous to Sicily, including Nerello Mascalese, Carricante, and Grecanico, along with international varietals like Grenache. Everything is hand harvested and they work with low intervention. In short, they do everything right.
Their 'Rivaggi' is truly exceptional. It comes from Nerello Mascalese and Grenache located on the northern and western sides of Mt Etna. Carrying an ethereal power that is easier to experience than describe, intense and focused without exuding a single ounce of weight. You just might think you are on Mt Etna while smelling and drinking this wine, and you just might be.
