Selvapiana makes some of the prettiest and most elegant Chiantis out there, but for this, their Super Tuscan effort, there's a little more power and stuffing. A blend of 60% Sangiovese, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 20% Merlot, this is pure class and a great value as well.
'Lots of black cherries, violets and dark wood, such as mahogany on the nose. Full-bodied with firm, chewy tannins that show plenty of structure and power. Really polished. This can age wonderfully and needs at least three to four years to come together.' - 94 points - James Suckling
