The Rapuzzi family has deep ties to the Friulan region of northeastern Italy. They are instrumental to the triumphant return of the native varietal Schioppettino, which is an interesting story in its own right.
Their 'Ri Nera' bottling of Schioppettino is a testament to why this grape needed saving, and why they were the ones to do it. A showcase of wild character, you can find brambly red and dark berries, and beautiful florals of roses and lavender.
