The Rapuzzi family has deep ties to the Friulan region of northeastern Italy. They are instrumental to the triumphant return of the native varietal Schioppettino, which is an interesting story in its own right!
Their Ribolla Gialla is fermented by wild yeast in stainless steel tanks after experiencing a one day maceration on the skins. It is then aged for a few months on the lees with frequent batonnage before being bottled. Fresh, aromatic, and savory. Herbal and floral notes abound with notes of nectarines, and there is a salty and minty character to this lively wine with juicy acidity and great texture.
