Alessandro Prandi produces up to 2000 cases exclusively from their small family farm in the historic town of Diano d'Alba. It's amazing that their wines make it to the US, but we are blessed that they do. The family farms organically, ferments with native yeasts, and make their wines using minimal intervention.
The estate's Nebbiolo is pretty and perfumed with classic varietal notes of ripe cherry, crushed raspberry, rose petal, violet, and underbrush. Light to medium-bodied but possessing good structural backbone, this is smells and tastes like Barbaresco, but it costs half the price.
