Though they were officially established in the 1980s, the Pra family had been working their vineyards and farming for generations before their first commercial bottlings emerged. Located in the Soave region of the Veneto, they have earned great renown for their wines, earning multiple awards from both Italian and International entities.
Their Amarone della Valpolicella 'Morandina' is a more restrained style of Amarone, but my no means does that mean it is lacking in depth and complexity. Distinct notes of dried fig, wild cherry, plum, blood orange peel, and further notes of anise, mocha, and cinnamon.
