Serra is the entry point to the Paitin reds, and this respected and traditional producer makes great Barbera. This is classic Barbera d'Alba with it's ripe and rich yet fresh notes of dark cherry, raspberry, and spice. Not too heavy but certainly not light, this is a lot of wine for the money.
