Michele founded this venture in the 1980s, when he decided to focus solely on wine, and rented some vineyards and a wine cellar to begin this new chapter. He released his first vintage in 1983, just a year before the Bolgheri D.O.C. was officially designated.
This Bolgheri Rosso is in every single part what a Super Tuscan from this legendary zone should be. A blend of equal parts Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot, with the last bit made up of Syrah. Powerful, structured, and full-bodied. Layers of cassis, dried cherry, leather, anise, menthol, earth, and more unfold in the glass.
