This traditional estate on the Pfarrplatz in Vienna’s 19th District has been in operation since 1683, vinifying wines that were instrumental in establishing Vienna’s reputation as the city whose very name stands for wine. In 1817, composer Ludwig van Beethoven moved into the first floor flat on the Pfarrplatz and began to compose his legendary Ninth Symphony.
This traditional field-blend (Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Rotgipfler, Zierfandler) pours a medium greenish-gold and shows glorious aromas and flavors of green apple, peach, citrus, flowers, and mineral. Crisp and highly drinkable, this finishes long and oh-so satisfying.
