Marietta Cellars has been a California wine institution since Chris Bilbro founded the winery in 1978. Today, his son Scot Bilbro carries on the family's commitment to old-vine vineyards, sustainable farming, and balanced wines that reflect their origins. Cristo is sourced from a collection of organically farmed vineyards in Mendocino County, where the combination of warm days and cool nights allows grapes to achieve full ripeness while retaining freshness and energy.
A blend of Syrah, Grenache, Petite Sirah, and Viognier, Christo is a bold yet remarkably balanced red. Rich aromas and flavors of blackberry, black cherry, blueberry, lavender, cracked pepper, and baking spice flow from the glass. Full-bodied and deeply satisfying, it combines California sunshine with Rhône-inspired complexity, making it a perfect companion for grilled meats, barbecue, hearty stews, and other robust fare.
