Stavros Kokkinos, a longtime fruit farmer, first invested in Xinomavro vineyards in 2000. With a current total of 3.6 hectares under vine, Stavros shares in some of the top parcels of the area, making him one of the up and coming estates of Nauoussa.
A classic expression of Xinomavro -- very dry, quite structured, and offering up complex and almost Nebbiolo-like aromas and flavors of rose petal, dark currant, dried fruits, and exotic spices, this would be amazing served alongside grilled meats or long-braised stews.
