Founded in 1982, this pioneering estate was started by farmer Jerry Bookwalter. Jerry previously planted and managed some of the original, high-quality Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards in the Valley, and today, his son carries on his legacy.
The estate's 2022 Foreshadow Cabernet Sauvignon is one that Wine Spectator rated 93 points, with a suggested retail of $50. It's a grand, ripe, and hedonistic style of Cab for those who love Venge, Caymus, and Lewis. It just costs way less.
