I Fabbri Chianti Classico Lamole

We absolutely love this new and beautiful, intellectually stimulating Chianti from I Fabbri, a producer on the rise. Coming from the remote and elevated village of Lamole, this is 100% organic, old vine Sangiovese grown in sandy soils.

Even better, due to these sandy soils and the fact that Lamole is surrounded by thousands of acres of national forest, these vines are planted on their own rootstock and have never been affected by phylloxera. 

Sandy-soiled vines always produce elegant, intensely aromatic, and ethereal red wines, and that is exactly what you get here. Pale ruby in color,. this explodes out of the glass with notes of cool red fruits, rose petal, white pepper, and mineral. Crunchy, low in tannin and high in acidity, and just downright delicious, it's a wine for folks who love reds like Pelaverga, Ruche, Gamay, and Pinot Noir.
