Heitz Cellar Chardonnay

Family owned since its founding in 1961, Heitz Cellar’s legacy runs as deep as the roots throughout the Napa Valley. Joe Heitz ushered in Napa's modern era with his iconic, globally celebrated wines, and that mission continues to this day.

Though renowned for their Cabernets, they make a very fine Chardonnay as well. This is the somewhat rare Napa Valley Chardonnay that sees no malolactic fermentation at all. The 2018 showcases the bright citrus fruits that this bottling has been known for with elements of brioche and fresh-baked bread from extended lees aging. The tension and precision become the focal point as fresh citrus gives way to subtle salinity and minerality on the finish.
