Guimaro Ribeira Sacra Vino Blanco

Pedro Rodriguez comes from a long line of winegrowers within the Amandi area of Ribeira Sacra, which is notable for it's south facing vineyards planted on Losa slate above the river Sil. A rugged terrain, it is not easy to work the vines here, but what is produced by Adegas Guimaro shows what this area is capable of. 

The Guimaro Blanco is 100% organic Godello raised in stainless steel coming from various plots in and around Amandi grown on slate, granite, and sand soils. Fresh, textured, rich but balanced, with excellent orchard fruits. You can tell they've been making wine since before the Ribeira Sacra became a designated zone in 1996.
