DuMOL 'Wester Reach' Pinot Noir

Founded by Andy Smith in 1996, DuMOL has grown into one of California's most respected wineries by focusing on small-lot Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Syrah from some of the finest vineyard sites in the Russian River Valley and Sonoma Coast. Today, the winery farms more than 25 estate and leased vineyard parcels, all certified organic or in conversion, while maintaining long-term relationships with a select group of top growers. Their philosophy is straightforward: exceptional wines begin in the vineyard, and thoughtful, minimalist winemaking preserves the distinct character of each site and vintage.

Wester Reach Pinot Noir brings together fruit from a collection of cool-climate vineyards in the western Russian River Valley, where morning fog, Goldridge soils, and long growing seasons consistently produce wines of remarkable balance and finesse. Fermented with native yeasts and aged in French oak, it offers expressive aromas and flavors of black cherry, raspberry, crushed strawberry, rose petal, baking spice, tea leaf, and forest floor. Medium-bodied yet wonderfully concentrated, it combines silky tannins with vibrant acidity and a long, mineral-tinged finish that makes it just as compelling at the table as it is on its own.
