'More depth and richness emerge from the 2018 Châteauneuf Du Pape Pure Roussanne, which displays serious amounts of minerality as well as notes of tangerine, peach, spice-box, and brioche. Nicely textured, concentrated, and balanced, it was brought up all in new oak, but you’d never know that by tasting it. The 2018 vintage was difficult for the whites, but this is brilliant.
