Domaine Lucien Crochet Sancerre

We love Lucien Crochet for classic, beautifully made Sancerre that shows exactly why this region is so special. The Crochet family farms 38 hectares around Bué, Vinon, and Crezancy, with vines rooted in the clay and limestone soils of the area. This is the kind of producer we love to get behind: traditional, serious about the vineyards, and focused on letting the place speak.

The wine itself is pure, fresh, and mineral-driven, with bright citrus, fresh fruit, and floral notes backed by lively acidity. Fermented in stainless steel and aged on the fine lees, it has a nice bit of texture without losing that crisp Sancerre character. We love this with oysters, seafood, goat cheese, or simply chilled down and enjoyed on its own.
