This robust and full-bodied red comes from old, biodynamically cultivated vines in the village of Sainte Cecile, near Rasteau, Cairanne, and Sablet. A blend of 60/40 Grenache and Syrah, this is beefy, dark-fruited, and exotically scented CDR that drinks more like a Chateauenuf du Pape. We're not exaggerating!
'A blend of 60% Grenache and 40% Syrah, the 2020 Côtes du Rhône Villages Sainte Cécile Philippe exhibits a deep purple hue as well as medium to full-bodied aromas and flavors of ripe black cherries, spring flowers, and ground pepper, with a touch of background Syrah meatiness.
