They’re humble, passionate folks who take their work seriously, and it shows. Careful farming, combined with the sandy soils of this Côtes du Rhône Village, yields wines that manage to be both powerful and beautifully lifted at the same time.
Their Sablet Rouge is always top-notch, and it consistently drinks like a more elegant Gigondas, with smoother tannins and a prettiness you just don’t encounter very often in Southern Rhône reds. A blend of old-vine, organically farmed Grenache (80%) and Syrah (20%), this one flows with spicy red and dark berries, warm spices, cracked pepper, and garrigue -- that wild mix of thyme, rosemary, lavender, and other sunbaked herbs you find growing all over the hillsides of southern France.
