Domaine Cheveau Pouilly-Fuisse 'Les Trois Terroirs'

'The classic cuvée shows stone fruit and orange blossom on the nose, complicated by an element of chalky minerality. Rich, savory and dense on the palate, with its ripe yellow fruit flavors contrasted by some funky earth and saline tones. This Fuissé is sourced from three separate parcels, two of which are in Pouilly with the third situated in Fuissé. The vines are between 25 and 40 years of age and produce a wine with the typical richness and power of this appellation. After fermentation, the elevage is done in a mix of barrel and foudre for one year.' - Wine Maker's Notes
