Corymbia is the personal project of Rob and Genevieve Mann, two of the most respected names in Margaret River. Genevieve grew up in one of the region’s founding wine families, while Rob has decades of experience crafting wines at a high level around the world. With Corymbia, they’ve narrowed their focus to farming and winemaking that prioritizes clarity and site over manipulation -- sustainably farmed vineyards, minimal intervention in the cellar, and a commitment to letting the fruit speak without heavy oak or extraction. The result is Cabernet that feels intentional, honest, and deeply rooted in place.

Margaret River is one of the world’s great regions for Cabernet Sauvignon, thanks to its maritime climate, ancient soils, and long, even growing seasons. That combination delivers wines with both structure and freshness, and you can taste that balance clearly here. This bottling shows classic notes of dark currant, black cherry, and plum layered with tobacco, graphite, dried herbs, and a subtle earthy edge. Full-bodied but never heavy, it walks that line between power and finesse beautifully, making it just as compelling at the table as it is on its own.

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate, 98 points: "The 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon springs from a most glorious season in Western Australia (WA), and in particular, Margaret River. It's is aromatic and leafy and layered with cassis, flaked milk chocolate, cracked peppercorns, nori sheets and mulberry. This has everything aromatically, but it is in the mouth where the tannins steal the show. This is elegant, finely milled, soft in its way—pliable and ductile, not "soft"—and so long through the finish. It's a remarkable wine, made all the more remarkable by its élevage in a large-format old oak vat (1,600 liters), which allows the fruit and the natural tannins to really shine. It is 100% berry sorted and fermented and aged in old oak. My emphatic advice is to find it if you can."
