Corte Majoli Valpolicella Ripasso

Valpolicella is one of the classic wines and growing zones of Italy’s Veneto region. The wines are always red and they are always blends of the regions native varietals. Corte Majoli’s version combines 65% Corvina with 30% Rondinella and 5% Molinara, and wine is fermented in contact with the skins of the estate’s Amarone to add more stuffing to the wine. It works! With notes of dark cherry, raisins, clove and toasty oak, this full bodied, richly textured wine offers up loads of flavor and complexity for a humble price.
