Vincent Roussely is the fourth generation of his family to farm vines in Touraine, in the heart of France's Central Loire Valley. Farming organically and working with old vines, he produces honest, terroir-driven wines with minimal intervention. His Gamay is a wonderful expression of both his vineyards and the region.
Fresh, vibrant, and easy to love, this old vine Gamay offers up aromas and flavors of raspberry, cherry, pink peppercorn, and damp earth. Silky and medium-bodied, it glides across the palate with bright acidity and virtually no tannin. Serve it with a light chill alongside grilled salmon, roast chicken, or your favorite bistro fare.
