Based in Verdigny, the Cherrier brothers farm 20 hectares of vines spread over five different villages around Sancerre, as well as 10 hectares of vines in Menetou-Salon.
Menetou-Salon is often seen as the "little brother" to Sancerre. In the 2010, Jean-Marie and François Cherrier took over a ten hectare property in Menetou-Salon and began applying their géo-biology philosophy to the farming and winemaking.
The resulting wine is a lovely, pure, and bright expression of Sauvignon Blanc that isn't far off qualitatively from Sancerre. Brimming with fresh citrus, mineral, and herbal notes, this bottle becomes empty fast!
