The Chateau de Saint-Lager Brouilly is rooted in one of Beaujolais’ most historic estates, with origins dating back to the 14th century and a long legacy tied to the slopes surrounding Mont Brouilly. Today, the vineyards are managed under the stewardship of Chateau de Pizay, combining deep historical roots with modern precision. Brouilly itself is the largest and southernmost of the Beaujolais crus, known for its rolling vineyards of Gamay planted on granite and sandy soils around an extinct volcanic hill—conditions that produce wines with both generous fruit and a distinctive mineral edge.

In the glass, Chateau de Saint-Lager Brouilly is vibrant, expressive, and immediately inviting.
