The Coutier family has been in the village of Ambonnay since 1619, with fifth generation vigneron Antoine Coutier at the helm. The Coutier house style is accentuated by vinification and cellar techniques that seek to marry the traditional richness of Ambonnay fruit with the racy and pure style that the family cherishes. Coutier Champagnes are a “go-to” for consumers seeking Champagnes that overdeliver on all counts.
'The NV Brut Tradition Grand Cru is creamy and so expressive. Dried pear, ginger, spice and dried flowers lend quite a bit of aromatic nuance to this Pinot-based NV Champagne. Time in the glass brings out the natural resonance of Ambonnay. This is such a pretty and inviting Champagne. The current release is based on 2014, with 40% reserve wines blended in.
