Chai de la Dive Saumur-Champigny
Regular price $32.99/
Romain Guiberteau is one of the leading figures and winemakers in France's Loire Valley. After abandoning his law studies, he returned to his family's estate in Saumur, made his first wine under the tutelage of Nady Foucault of Clos Rougeard fame, and he continue to craft some of the region's most sought-after wines.
Their Saumur-Champigny is a crunchy, fresh, and savory Cabernet Franc. Medium-bodied with dark cherry and cranberry fruits, and extremely classic green peppercorn and rosemary notes. Among the tilled dirt and spice nuances there is a dark mineral presence that is very indicative of Saumur-Champigny.
