This is the Priorat outpost of famed Emporda producer Perelada. Sitting on the banks of the river Siurana, the estate is producing one of the great Priorat values on the planet.
A blend of all of the grapes they grow (Garnatxa, Cabernet Sauvignon, Samso, Syrah, Merlot and Cabernet Franc), this is a great introduction to the splendors of this fabled region in Spanish Catalonia.
'Deep cherry red to the eye, this wine has aromas of blackberry, Luxardo cherry, and cinnamon stick. Baking-spice notes open on the palate, joined by flavors of red and black berries, mocha and black-olive paste.
