Caprili Rosso di Montalcino

Caprili was one of the earliest estates established in Montalcino and remains one of the region’s benchmark traditional producers. Located in the warmer southwestern sector of the appellation near Tavernelle, the estate benefits from excellent ripening conditions for Sangiovese, yielding wines of depth, power, and structure. Despite their long history and reputation, Caprili’s wines continue to represent tremendous values in the world of serious Tuscan wine.

Produced entirely from Sangiovese and crafted in a classic style, their Rosso di Montalcino is fermented in stainless steel before aging in large oak casks to preserve both freshness and varietal character. The resulting wine is ripe, rich, and wonderfully expressive, offering notes of dark cherry, plum, blackberry, mint, and subtle spice. Firmly structured yet approachable, this possesses impressive depth and concentration while maintaining the energy and balance that make Rosso di Montalcino such a joy to drink.
