Chacra winery is the brainchild of Piero Incisa della Rocchetta, grandson of Marchese Mario Incisa della Rocchetta (inventor of the 'Super Tuscan' and founder of Tenuta San Guido, one of the most famous wineries in the world). Piero started buying vineyards in Argentina after being blown away by Patagonian Pinot Noirs at a tasting in NY.

The Cincuenta y Cinco is made from 60 year old, organically farmed vines and previous vintages have scored 97-100 points. The level of elegance, expressiveness and aromatics in this wine must be experienced to be believed.

'Extremely perfumed and beautiful with ripe strawberries and citrus fruit, as well as aromatic flowers. Full-bodied with plenty of fruit and creamy, chewy tannins that are polished and very impressive. Long and linear. One of the best of this bottling.' - James Suckling - 98 Points
