'Bishop' by Ben Glaetzer

Regular price $42.99
/

The Glaetzer family first landed at Port Adelaide in Australia in 1888, and shortly after settled in the Barossa Valley. More than a century later, Colin Glaetzer established Glaetzer Wines with the intent of making high quality wines from the Barossa Valley. The winemaking is now handled by Colin's son, Ben.

'Bishop' is named so after the family name of Judith, Colin's wife. Solely made of Shiraz from the Barossa Valley, this is a powerful, huge, dark red wine. Very fruit forward with dark plum, blackberry, black currant, ripe cherry, and further bolstered by notes of dried spice and cola. Every bit as powerful as shiraz from Australia can be known for.
