Each year Kermit Lynch personally selects the best barrels of Louis Barruol's Cote Rotie wine to be blended for this special cuvee. It has all the complexity, concentration and structure one expects of a top Northern Rhone Syrah with deep flavors of dark berries, smoked meat, black pepper, black olive, violets and earth. Vibrant acidity and velvety tannins ensure this wine has many years of aging potential but it can be very enjoyable now with a little time in a decanter.  Serve with lamb roast or wild game for an unforgettable meal!
