Brothers Alexandre and Damien Bardet are one of the rising star producers of Chablis. They honor the traditions of the region, making Chardonnays that showcase freshness, energy, and minerality instead of richness, creaminess, and toasty oak. Their wines are quickly gaining a cult following in the US, and when you get this in your glass, you'll understand why.

100% Chardonnay from vines planted in 1991, fermentation and aging is done entirely in stainless steel to preserve freshness and purity. From the wonderful 2023 vintage, this is both a gorgeous wine and a classic rendition of Chablis. Nicely concentrated and silky yet zesty and fresh, it showcases aromas and flavors of Granny Smith apple, pear, citrus zest, and chalky minerality. Very well done, and a great introduction to this famed AOC in the northern-most section of Burgundy.
