Babylonstoren is one of the oldest working Cape Dutch farms in the Winelands region. The estate is positioned around a sprawling garden, inspired by the historic Company’s Garden in Cape Town. In recent years, Babylonstoren has become a renowned establishment in the vibrant Boland region. The farm’s garden is known for its diverse and expansive botanical collections.
Their Nebukadnesar is fashioned like a Left Bank Bordeaux -- a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot primarily, with Cab Franc, Petit Verdot, and Malbec in supporting roles, it offers up a wonderful mix of spicy dark cherry, blueberry, plum, graphite, cedar, and tobacco. Full-bodied yet opulent, you can drink this anytime over the next 5 to 7 years.
