Argiolas Costera Cannonau

Cannonau is the local name for the Grenache grape which thrives on Sardinia and some folks even make the dubious claim that it is native to the island. Others have credited Cannonau wines for the longevity of Sardinia's residents due it's high levels of antioxidants.  Regardless, this is a wonderful, food friendly red with notes of black cherries, baked strawberries and savory herbs and spices.
