Argiolas 'Costamolino' Vermentino di Sardegna

Founded in 1938, Argiolas is the leading estate on the island of Sardinia and is know for producing classic wines from native varietals with a mind towards quality over quantity. Vermentino grapes thrive here in the warm climate and express the aromas of the evergreen shrubs and wild herbs that grow on the island.  Costamolino is fermented in stainless steel to preserve freshness and a small percentage sees malolactic fermentation to give the wine roundness and texture. The wine offers aromas of pine and mint coupled with ripe stone fruit and juicy citrus. It makes a great accompaniment to a range of seafood dishes or lighter Mediterranean fare.
