Antoine Lienhardt has quickly become one of Burgundy's most exciting young vignerons. After taking over his family's vineyards in 2011, he set out to prove that overlooked appellations could produce wines every bit as compelling as their more famous neighbors. Farming biodynamically, working with old vines, and treating every vineyard as if it were a Grand Cru, Antoine has earned a devoted following among collectors and sommeliers. Produced from old vines planted in the 1960s on rocky limestone soils, Les Plantes aux Bois is the domaine's most coveted cuvee, with just 300 cases produced each vintage.
