Crafted by Michele Lorenzetti, one of Italy's leading biodynamic winemakers, this is as pure and honest as Tuscan red wine gets. Composed of Sangiovese, Canaiolo, and Malvasia Nera planted in the 1960's and 1970's, it is pretty, ethereal, and a wonderful introduction to natural wine.
From Michele's home estate in the Mugello Hills, north of Florence, Nostrale is medium bodied, fresh, and fine-grained. With its earthy, spicy, woodsy, and red fruited aromas and flavors, it's also perfect for pizza, pasta with red sauce, or a charcuterie board.
