A second label for Napa Valley's Blackbird Vineyards, this is a stellar value in North Coast Chardonnay. Produced with grapes from cooler valley and coastal sites, it is nicely layered and somewhat complex for a California Chardonnay in this price range. Look for notes of ripe melon, pear, almond, and crème brûlée.
