Foxglove is the brainchild of brothers Bob and Jim Varner, a talented duo who also makes wine under their own eponymous label. Their Zinfandel hails from Paso Robles, and it is fermented entirely in stainless steel tanks.
A joyous and not-too-heavy or globby bottle of Zin, this offers up nice freshness to the brambly and peppery raspberry and plum fruit. Chill it for about 15 minutes, and enjoy with BBQ!
