Illahe Vineyards 'Cuvée Miette' Pinot Noir
Regular price $24.99/
Founded in 1983 by husband and wife Lowell and Pauline Ford, Illahe Vineyards makes pretty and highly expressive Pinots Noirs from their organic, sustainable, and dry-farmed vineyards in the Southern Willamette Valley. Today, the estate is run by Lowell and Pauline's kids, and they continue the legacy of quality their parents started.
Their Cuvée Miette Pinot Noir is the estate's entry-level Pinot, but it doesn't drink like an entry-level wine. This has terrific elegance, balance, and depth, with loads of ripe and juicy red fruits, savory herb, rose petal, and toasted spice notes. Medium-bodied, silky, and flowing, it is a ton of Oregon Pinot Noir for the money.
