'The 2016 Pinot Noir The Eyrie has a medium ruby-purple color and pretty nose of violet, dried hollyhock, prosciutto, leather, blueberries and boysenberries with red currant, oolong tea leaves and earth aromas. It’s medium-bodied and ultra silky with gobs of perfumed fruit layers, a very finely grained frame and mouthwatering acidity, finishing long and perfumed. Yes! Jason Lett says that the Outcrop and The Eyrie Pinot Noirs come from the same clones and elevation and have a similar aspect, but the main difference between the two wines is vine age—the average vine age for the Outcrop is 27 years, while average vine age for The Eyrie Pinot Noir is 47 years.' - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate - 95 points
