Domaine J. Laurens is located near the famous city of Carcassonne in France's wine region of Limoux. One of the "cleanest" estates in the region, they received a Level 3 High Environmental Value Certification in 2021. Level 3 is the highest level awarded to wineries that have made accommodations for the entire estate operation.
Their Les Graimenous, their top wine, is vintage-dated and composed of 60% Chardonnay, 30% Chenin Blanc, 5% Pinot Noir, and 5% Mauzac. Fermented methode Champenoise, it is a great, value-priced alternative to real-deal Champagne. Pure and fresh notes of apple, pear, light toast, and freshly baked baguette can all be found in this crisp and inviting sparkler.
