New to North Carolina and brought to us by our friends at the Haw River Wine Man are the wines of Vigna Lenuzza. This small, certified organic estate in Friuli has crafted a delicious Ramato Pinot Grigio. This traditional wine of Friuli is one in which the juice and skin are macerated together, a la orange wine.
Due to Pinot Grigio's pink-ish colored skin, this one looks more like a pale rose. With wonderful texture to the melon, pear, and ripe citrus flavors, this is a pure joy to drink.
